A.R.E. INSTALLS THIRD COMBUSTION SYSTEM AT AMCO FARMS

Advanced Recycling Equipment is currently installing a third combustion system at Amco Farms Produce in Ontario, Canada. Amco already had two 800 HP Challenger Combustion Systems installed and is in the final stages of bringing their third unit online.

This project consists of three 30 MMBTU units that include Extended Combustion Zones, Auto De-Ash, and PCC Controls. Advanced Recycling Equipment also supplied Mini Storage, Boiler Transitions, and Chimneys to each system. Also, an 800 HP Hot Water Boiler Unit accompanies each unit.

These Boilers provide heat to Amco Farms' 55-acre greenhouse facility. Amco currently burns dry pallet scrap, railroad ties, cardboard, and green forest waste management residue as its fuel source. The Challenger Combustion Systems have allowed Amco Farms to gain control of their energy costs by significantly reducing their dependence on fossil fuels.

With the dramatic increases in fossil fuel costs, let CHALLENGER® help you to take back control of your energy and waste disposal costs. Call us today at 1-800-611-6599.

RECENT COMBUSTION INSTALLATIONS

Advanced Recycling Equipment has been installing Combustion Units all over the world.

  • Massachusetts – CCU402-W  1.5MMBTU Hot Water Unit providing heat for 30,000 square foot greenhouse operation.
  • North Carolina – CCUE409-S  9MMBTU Steam Unit providing steam for dry kiln operation.
  • Ontario – CCUE-403-A  2.4MMBTU Hot Air / Hot Oil Unit providing plant heat and air to oil heat exchange for press operation.

  • Pennsylvania – CCU404-A  3MMBTU Warm Air Unit providing plant heat.

CHALLENGER - MAKING IT BETTER

Gallina, New Mexico, one of our recent installations, provides heat to the Jemez Mountain School District's Middle School. Advanced Recycling Equipment is also currently working with a number of School Districts right here in Pennsylvania, inquiring about CHALLENGER® Combustion Systems to do the same for their facilities.

CHALLENGER® Combustion Systems produce Thermal Energy in the form of hot air, hot water, and steam. This Thermal Energy can be used, for example, to heat greenhouses, dry kilns, schools, and hospitals. It can also be used as plant or process heat.

The systems allow you to burn a variety of fuels with a moisture content ranging from 0-50.

All units are constructed to meet the severe requirements of combusting biomass fuels. Designed with an extended combustion zone, these units reach some of the lowest emission levels in the world.
