| This hardwood lumber company has two of the Challenger CG400-3055-S-T Hopper grinders. One of the grinders is strictly for pallet scrap. The ground material is conveyed via a belt conveyor under an Overband magnet to extract all of the nails. The material is conveyed onto another belt conveyor and blown into their storage unit for animal bedding. The second grinder is placed in another part of their facility and is strictly used for the blocks and cutoff scrap pieces. The ground product is blown into their main dust collection system and sold for animal bedding. | |
